I got to know today that Facebook offers some useful keyword shortcut, which lets you perform actions quickly saving you some mouse clicks. So, here are they –
Chrome | Firefox | |
---|---|---|
alt+m alt+0 alt+1 alt+2 alt+3 alt+4 alt+5 alt+6 alt+7 alt+8 alt+9 alt+? |
shift+alt+m shift+alt+0 shift+alt+1 shift+alt+2 shift+alt+3 shift+alt+4 shift+alt+5 shift+alt+6 shift+alt+7 shift+alt+8 shift+alt+9 shift+alt+? |
new message help center home page profile page manage friend list messages list notification page account settings privacy settings facebook fan page facebook terms search box |
If you are using Internet Explorer, after pressing Alt + # let go of both keys and press Enter for the shortcut to work. For example, press Alt + 1 (let go) and then press Enter to open the Facebook home page. * Also, the M to open a new message in Internet Explorer does not work, since it is the home shortcut.
If you are using Mac, for OSX & Firefox – press Function + Ctrl and then the desired key, like 1,2, m, ?, and if using OSX & Other browsers, press Option + Ctrl and then the desired key.
