If you need someone to proofread your post before publishing, this can only be possible if the other person has an user account with required permissions to preview the post. But what if you want someone anonymous who does not have an user account to preview the post. This can be very easily done with ‘Public Post Preview‘ WordPress Plugin.
‘Public Post Preview‘ Plugin enable you to give a link to the anonymous user for public preview of a post before it is published.
How to Use ‘Public Post Preview’ plugin
1. By default all posts in draft or pending review status will have public preview links that can be found diretly below the edit post box.
2. To disable public post preview for a specific post uncheck the public preview post box and save the post.
I many time felt need of such a feature in WordPress. Its not always possible to email the article to someone for proofreading and neither it is possible to give a user account to everyone whom you want to proofread your post and even if you make them a user account its not easy to teach the other person who never worked on WordPress to how to use the WordPress Dashboard. But now this plugin solves all these problems. Thanks to the developer for developing such a useful plugin.
