You can now access Twitter on your Airtel and Tata Docomo phones via USSD platform, without the need of any 2G / 3G data plan. It works in same manner you make recharge or check your account balance on your phone.
The following instructions works for both Airtel and Tata Docomo –
Access Twitter on USSD. This service was introduced by Airtel and now Tata Docomo has also joined in. The mobile customers of both companies will now be able to access their Twitter accounts for only 1 rupee / day without activating data services.
Dial *515# to access twitter for : Tweeting, Retweet, Search, Maintain Follower list, Maintain Following list.
You can use this service even when you do not have twitter account. You can use it to view the tweets by eminent personalities. Just dial *515# and follow your favorites: Bollywood Tweets, Cricket Tweets, Hot Trends Tweets, Best Tweets, News Tweets, Politics Tweets.
Note: To access Facebook via USSD, dial *325#, at 1 rupee / day.
